While few new physical copies of periodicals or journals are purchased by the library, You can use OneSearch to check for physical periodicals/journals in the library. Enter the title of the periodical, and limit the material type to "Journals." Click search. Then on the right side of the page, limit the availability to "Held by library." The search results will then contain only physical periodicals/journals in the library.
